LESSONS

All aspects of music are connected so our curriculum reflects this. Our private lessons focus on core skills such as technique, rhythm, and repertoire, while seamlessly integrating music theory, musicianship, creativity, and practice skills.

We work with our students to understand their own unique abilities and goals. Our students explore a wide variety of music genres, and our lessons are personalised to meet individual needs and responses.

We regularly use interactive activities in our lessons to help solidify learning in a fun and engaging way.

GROUP WORKSHOPS

Our students attend group workshops every term for a collaborative learning experience. Students may explore music history, music theory, play in ensembles, practice performing, or work on creative projects together. The group workshops are hugely popular and foster a great community spirit.

 

PERFORMANCE

We hold two recitals per year. These provide a relaxed and encouraging environment for students to build confidence and develop their performance skills. All students are encouraged to participate when they feel ready.

EXAMS

Our students have the option of preparing for practical and/or theory exams at all levels. We offer ABRSM and Trinity College options, depending on the individual student. 

 

Exams can be a great option for highly motivated students but are never compulsory!​
